This Privacy Policy explains how Pelagic Studio LLC, a Louisiana limited liability company (“Pelagic Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information in connection with RestoreIQ, including our website, application, subscription services, trial services, support services, documentation tools, export tools, AI-assisted features, and related services.
This Privacy Policy applies to users, trial users, subscribers, website visitors, prospective customers, demo participants, support contacts, and other individuals who interact with RestoreIQ or Pelagic Studio in connection with RestoreIQ.
By accessing or using RestoreIQ, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through:
the RestoreIQ application;
RestoreIQ trial, subscription, and account registration workflows;
the RestoreIQ website and landing pages;
support forms, emails, demos, onboarding sessions, and customer communications;
project, media, documentation, inventory, vendor, purchase, budget, schedule, and workflow features;
AI-assisted caption, narrative, recommendation, documentation, and workflow features;
export, PDF, Book Studio, print-preparation, and reporting features; and
related Pelagic Studio business operations involving RestoreIQ.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, payment processors, authentication providers, cloud providers, AI providers, print providers, or other third-party services that may be linked to or integrated with RestoreIQ. Those third parties may have their own privacy policies and terms.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information.
2.1 Account and Identity Information
We may collect information used to create, manage, authenticate, and support your account, including:
name;
email address;
username or account identifier;
company or organization name, if applicable;
role, title, or account type;
password or authentication credentials, if managed directly by us;
authentication provider identifiers;
account status;
subscription status;
account preferences; and

2.2 Subscription, Billing, and Payment Information
If RestoreIQ is offered through paid subscriptions, trials, invoices, or online checkout, we may collect or receive information related to billing and payment status, including:
subscription plan;
trial start and end dates;
subscription start and renewal dates;
payment status;
invoices, receipts, and billing history;
billing contact information;
partial payment details or payment tokens provided by payment processors;
tax information where required; and
cancellation or refund information.
We do not intend to directly store full credit card numbers when using a third-party payment processor. Payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
2.3 Project and Vehicle Information
RestoreIQ is designed to help users plan, organize, document, and manage vehicle restoration projects. You may upload, enter, or generate project information, including:
project names and descriptions;
vehicle year, make, model, trim, VIN, body style, engine, drivetrain, and other vehicle details;
project type, goals, restoration stage, project status, and schedule;
assemblies, subassemblies, parts, inventory records, conditions, notes, tags, and locations;
vendor records, purchase records, receipts, estimates, costs, budgets, and expense information;
task lists, workflow progress, recommendations, checkpoints, and project signals;
documentation, project narratives, captions, and build history; and
other information you choose to store in RestoreIQ.
2.4 Media and Uploaded Content
RestoreIQ may allow you to upload or manage media and documents, including:
photos;
videos;
scans;
receipts;
diagrams;
manuals;
notes;
PDF files;
export materials;
book layouts;
captions and narratives; and
other user-submitted content.
Media files may contain embedded metadata, such as file name, date, time, device information, camera settings, and, in some cases, location metadata. You are responsible for reviewing and removing metadata before upload if you do not want it included.
2.5 AI Feature Information
If you use AI-assisted features, we may collect or process information related to those features, including:
prompts;
uploaded or selected project context;
media captions;
generated narratives;
generated recommendations;
workflow suggestions;
AI responses;
user edits to AI-generated output;
AI preference selections, such as manual-only, local AI, or cloud AI options if available; and
technical information needed to operate or troubleshoot AI features.
Depending on the AI mode selected and the RestoreIQ configuration, AI processing may occur locally, through Pelagic Studio-controlled systems, or through third-party AI providers. Additional AI notices or provider terms may apply.
2.6 Usage and Technical Information
We may collect information about how RestoreIQ is accessed and used, including:
IP address;
browser type;
device type;
operating system;
pages or features accessed;
date and time of access;
referring pages;
session information;
error logs;
diagnostic logs;
performance metrics;
feature usage;
security events;
approximate location inferred from IP address; and
other technical information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve RestoreIQ.
2.7 Communications and Support Information
If you contact us, request support, participate in a demo, provide feedback, or communicate with us about RestoreIQ, we may collect:

screenshots or files you provide;
diagnostic information;
feedback, feature requests, and comments;

3. How We Use Information

to store, organize, display, process, and export Customer Content;
to provide project management, media management, inventory, workflow, budget, schedule, documentation, reporting, export, PDF, and Book Studio features;
to provide AI-assisted captions, narratives, summaries, recommendations, and workflow guidance;
to personalize and improve user experience;
to provide customer support and troubleshooting;
to communicate about accounts, subscriptions, renewals, updates, policies, security, support, and product changes;
to monitor performance, usage, reliability, and security;
to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, misuse, security incidents, and unauthorized access;
to enforce our agreements and policies;
to comply with legal obligations;
to protect the rights, safety, property, and security of Pelagic Studio, RestoreIQ, users, customers, and others; and
for other purposes disclosed at the time of collection or with your consent.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your Customer Content. We may share information in the following circumstances.
4.1 Service Providers
We may share information with vendors and service providers who help us operate RestoreIQ, such as:
hosting providers;
authentication providers;
payment processors;
email and communication providers;
analytics providers;
support tools;
cloud storage providers;
AI providers;
security tools;
logging and monitoring providers;
print, export, or fulfillment providers if applicable; and
professional advisors.
These service providers may access information only as needed to provide services to us or to you, subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.
4.2 Customer-Directed Sharing
We may share information when you direct us to do so, such as when you:

submit materials to a print provider;

4.5 Aggregated or De-Identified Information
We may use and share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you or your specific projects for analytics, benchmarking, product improvement, research, marketing, or business purposes.
We will not intentionally use aggregated or de-identified information to identify you unless permitted by law.
5. Customer Content and Media
You control the Customer Content you upload, enter, generate, export, or delete through RestoreIQ, subject to product functionality and applicable policies.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights and permissions to upload, store, process, use, publish, print, or share Customer Content.
You should avoid uploading sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your use of RestoreIQ.
6. AI Processing
If you use AI Features, information you provide to or select for AI processing may be used to generate outputs such as captions, summaries, narratives, recommendations, and workflow suggestions.
If cloud AI features are used, selected prompts, context, Customer Content, or outputs may be processed by third-party AI providers. If local AI features are used, AI processing may occur on your local device or customer-controlled environment, depending on configuration.
AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI outputs before using them.
Additional AI notices may be provided in the application or in separate AI terms.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
RestoreIQ and related websites may use cookies, local storage, pixels, logs, or similar technologies to:
keep you signed in;
remember preferences;
secure sessions;
operate the website and application;
understand usage;
improve performance;
troubleshoot errors; and
support analytics or marketing where applicable.
You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect application functionality.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide RestoreIQ, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, support business operations, and protect security.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, account status, subscription status, legal obligations, backup systems, and operational needs.
Customer Content may be retained during active subscriptions and for a limited period after cancellation, expiration, or termination, unless deleted earlier by you, required by law, or governed by another written agreement.
Deleted information may remain in backups or archival systems for a limited period before deletion according to backup and retention practices.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information under our control.
However, no method of transmission, storage, hosting, authentication, or security is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials, devices, local files, exported materials, and any local backups.
10. Your Choices
Depending on your account, location, product configuration, and applicable law, you may have choices regarding:
accessing or updating account information;
exporting Customer Content;
deleting certain Customer Content;
canceling your subscription;
changing communication preferences;
requesting support with account or data questions; and
exercising privacy rights provided by applicable law.

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information.

Some information may be retained where necessary for legal, security, accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, backup, or legitimate business purposes.
12. Children’s Privacy
RestoreIQ is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to RestoreIQ, please contact us.
13. International Users
RestoreIQ is operated from the United States. If you access RestoreIQ from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the application, website, email, account dashboard, or other reasonable method.
The updated Privacy Policy will be effective as of the date stated at the top of the policy. Continued use of RestoreIQ after the updated policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated policy.
